Supervisor, Mental Health Skill Building Program

Staunton,VA

QMHP-A & QPP

Part-Time

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Mental Health Skill Building program in our Staunton office.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and be a Qualified Mental Health Professional-A.

Preference will be given to Master's level clinicians and to those who are licensed; LCSW and LPC.

This position also requires a minimum of 1+ years’ experience providing direct clinical care for clients who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Exceptional clinical writing and verbal communication skills are also a must, as is experience working with diverse populations.

 

A criminal background check, CPS background check, reliable transportation, and a good driving record are required. Supervisory experience is preferred.

 

We are currently seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals and Qualified Paraprofessionals to provide comprehensive skills-training to adults with severe mental illness to ensure their independence at home and in the community. We are offering part-time positions with the potential to become full-time.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a human service field, although Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees are preferred. Associate’s level clinicians will also be expected to complete additional training, and Bachelor’s and Master’s level clinician must obtain QMHP-A certification through the Virginia Board of Counseling. This position also requires a minimum of 1+ years’ experience providing direct clinical care for clients who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Exceptional clinical writing and verbal communication skills are also a must, as is experience working with diverse populations.

LPC licensure supervision is available for qualified candidates.
